We took a trip to Clemson this past weekend, and it was FABULOUS! We left Thursday afternoon and returned home on Sunday. We stayed with Donna and Randy...in their basement. It was perfect! A couple years ago their basement was flooded so it was all redone. Also, since they have grandchildren (ages 4 and 2) they had lots of toys to entertain the kids. Donna was keeping her grandchildren, Addie and Bear, for the weekend so the kids had playmates! Josiah and Addie seemed to especially like each other:) They played really well together. At one time, they were playing pirates in the backyard. We went to the Botanical Gardens and also to Lightsey Bridge Apartments, where Ryan and I met. (Yes, pictures were a must!) We took random pictures around campus and snuck into Littlejohn to see some basketball practice. We visited with friends, ate at favorite restaurants (sour cream and chive fries...yum), and saw a soccer game. The highlight of our trip was on Saturday when we went to the Orange and White game. It was so awesome to (officially) introduce the boys to Clemson football. They liked being at the game...just a little hot. Josiah said his favorite part was when the cannons went off. Aedan's favorite part was high-fiving the Clemson tiger. Other fun things we did included touching Howard's Rock, getting football programs, yogurt cups, "fishing" at Botanical Gardens, seeing Micah, and walking on the dike. Gotta LOVE Clemson!!!!
