Black Friday @ CVS

It's been a while since I've gotten a really great deal at CVS. The deals they had for black Friday were GREAT! I got all of this paying just under $5.00. I may have been able to do it cheaper, but I was a little rushed since Ryan and the boys were waiting for me in the car. I started with $18 worth of ECBs and ended the transactions getting back $13 of ECBs. GREAT deals!!

Thanksgiving in Columbia

Ryan and I went on several walks with the boys. Ryan took this picture of me on one of our walks. (Get a good look, it's the only one of me on this trip. I took all of the pictures:) I'm 18 1/2 weeks pregnant here!

a great picture of Ryan and the boys

We found some horses in the neighborhood. They came up to the fence and everything. Josiah and Aedan were so excited!

Aedan on a log!

We went to the zoo on Friday with Ryan's mom. It was a little cold, but the boys did great walking all around. Many of the animals were out, too...and actually moving around. The lions were moving, the tigers playing, the grizzly bears wrestling, the holler monkeys going crazy, and the fish swimming, of course.

Last year, Josiah was too scared to ride the merry-go-round. Not this year!! Both he and Aedan rode it and did great:)

What are you thankful for?

Josiah: "I get to go to Grammy and Grampy's house. I'm thankful for the dinosaur museum!"

Aedan: "Animals...a lion, a giraffe, a monkey."

"Dinosaur bones in the flower bed"

The day started out a little dreary looking, almost like it was going to rain, but I decided to take the boys outside to play anyway. We went for a walk in our neighborhood, and then decided to venture out on our land, which is across the street from our house. We haven't been over there in a while because I've avoided it all summer due to the possibility of serious poison ivy. We walked to back into the woods and played around for a while. Suddenly I saw what looked like a deer head skeleton. I pointed it out to the boys and picked it up to show them. I told that I thought it was a deer skeleton, but was corrected that it had belonged to a dinosaur. We began looking for more bones, and we found many!!! Josiah and Aedan were so excited to find fossils!!! What a great morning and adventure finding dinosaur bones!! Love my boys!!! "Little boy heart alive!"

KidStuf ends...

Our Dancers
Last night was our last night of KidStuf. It was bitter/sweet for us...I definitely didn't want it to end, but I realize that it's what is best for right now. The end of KidStuf means a load off of Ryan's plate and also opens up Sunday nights for us to have our small groups with the youth. Sunday night is SUCH a better night for small groups since so many of our teenagers are involved in sports and other activities after school...not to mention homework. I look forward to January when we start!

Virginia Visit

A couple weekends ago we headed to Virginia! Ryan was doing a retreat for the Russell's youth group. We arrived to the Russell's Thursday night, and then I headed to Newport News with the boys Friday afternoon. We were there right after all the rain that came through that area. I went a different, and much quicker way to my mom's, and I'm glad I did since I later found out that the James River Bridge was closed. (The way that I'd usually go.) We went to the Living Museum on Saturday and the Aquarium in Virginia Beach on Sunday before heading back to Clarksville to pick up Ryan. Oh, and we also ate lunch at Fuddruckers. Josiah and Aedan LOVE the food there. They always woof it down! The boys did really well. Since they get up so early, especially when we travel, I put them down earlier. It seemed to work well for them, and therefore, us:)

Harvest Carnival

Tonight we had the harvest carnival at church. Josiah went as a tiger, and Aedan wore Josiah's lion costume from last year. Here are some pictures of our evening out.

Josiah and Aedan with their pumpkins.

Ryan and the boys:)

Me and the boys:)

Family pic at the carnival...Josiah was in the mood to play, not take a picture.

At first, Aedan didn't want to jump on any of the inflatables that were there. He just wanted to sit and eat his sucker.

Josiah on the obstacle course...this was his favorite!

Finally, Aedan ventured onto the obstacle course. With help from Vivian (a 5th grader at church) he learned to love it!

After the carnival, the boys are enjoying their animal crackers from Gigi, and sitting with their new dinosaurs, Rudy!
