TTU Game

TTU let Upward players into a game for free this January.  (And additional family members pay $1.00)  We went to the girls game, and the boys game was afterwards, but it was getting late.  The kids loved it and were definitely entertained.  I didn't get to go last year, so it was fun to go with them.

I love the green!

Introducing the team!

a cheerleader pic for Mercy.

The team with the coaches.  The bald coach (with the tie) used to be the Clemson girls basketball coach when Ryan and I were at Clemson.

Yes, even American girl dolls like basketball.  This cracked me up, but apparently it's the thing to do! hahaha

Sammy

Josiah loves to draw!  He especially loves to draw anything related to sports.  He draws players, mascots, and much, much more! I love his Sammy picture!  Very accurate with his hair, uniform, and catching the ball.

Another COLD snow day!

It was so cold here in January.  It was below 0 degrees one night!  The kids went out for about 20 minutes on this particular day.  (Mercy made it 15 minutes.)  SUPER COLD!  I think it was like 6 degrees when they went out!

Upward basketball starts

Upward officially started the first weekend in January.  Aedan is in the kindergarten league and Josiah is in the 1st/2nd grade league.  As you can see, my camera doesn't do well with movement.  haha  Both boys are doing well, and are very aggressive in games!  Also, both are number 13.

Okay, I realize that Aedan looks a little gangsta here, and Josiah has an orange in honor of the Orange Bowl and Clemson's win over Ohio State.

January snow

Our January started our with cold temps and a little snow.  The kids were out of school the whole first week that they were supposed to be back in school.  So they ended up having a extra week off.  They enjoyed sledding and using their snow boards again.
