1st tournament game

Wow!  What a game last night.  Talk about high stress!  We played the Rays.  The last time we played them, it was the muddy game where most of their players were missing.  Aedan played at 1st to start the game, which was surprising to me since he has never played there before.  At the end of the 1st inning, the score was 7-7.  (7 is the max you can score in an inning.) And, at the end of the 2nd inning, the score was 14-14.  Even scoring the total 7 runs for us in the 2nd inning was close because we were sitting at 2 outs.  For the 3rd inning, Aedan was moved to the pitcher.  Wow!  and Yikes!  That is a lot of pressure!  He did well.  He got two outs throwing to 1st, and (I think) our short-stop got an out at 3rd.  It was a pretty clutch performance!  That meant going into the bottom of the 3rd, our team only had to score 1 run to win!  Which, happened to be Aedan.  After Aedan made it home, the game was called.  So, we won by 1 point.  Aedan was given the game ball, too!

Ever since watching Rookie of the year, one of Aedan's favorite movies, he has wanted to play pitcher.  He is fine anywhere, but I know he has wanted to try playing the position!

Dentist time!

Before Josiah was out of school, I took Aedan to the dentist.  Yesterday, it was Josiah's turn.  All of the kids did great, Mercy included as she waited for her brothers.  Ms. Marsha is their dental hygenist and she is also Aedan's Sunday school teacher.  (She was Josiah's is the past as well.)  She is really good, and makes the kids feel so comfortable.  She even let Mercy play with Mr. Thirsty and ride in the chair!  hahaha!  Here are some pictures!
