A Snowy Day

So, last Thursday night it snowed and Josiah was eager and ready to go play the next morning. He has grown up so much since the last time it snowed in Cookeville, which was last March. He plays and entertains himself so much better, too. Josiah loved the snow and playing in it. We got an old box that we had and used it as a sled to go down the hill in our backyard. Josiah had a blast! He went down with Ryan several times, and also by himself once. Aedan wasn't too sure of the snow. He acted like he wanted to go down the hill, so Ryan took them both down together once. He wasn't too fond of it...he cried the entire time. Later he was acting like he wanted to go again, but then he cried going down the hill once again. I think he wanted to go because Josiah was doing it, but then didn't like it. After Aedan fell face first into the snow, he had had enough. I took him inside, and Ryan and Josiah played longer outside. Later that morning, I drove into town to finish up Christmas shopping. The small mountain ridge next to our neighborhood looked beautiful with all of the snow, as did the countryside with the blanket of snow. I definitely hope it snows here again this winter. Below are some pictures of the morning. (You may want to click onto the pictures to see faces better.)
