Christmas in Charleston
On Sunday, December 27th, we headed down to Charleston, SC. It's normally about a 7 1/2- 8 hour drive, but because I40 is closed at the TN/NC border we had to go the LONG way. It adds on about an hour and a half. This should be the last time we travel for a while, so it should be fixed for next time. We had talked about going to the bowl game since it was in Nashville, but then later decided against it. We stayed at Caroline's house while we were in town.
Aedan tormenting Daisy...this was common throughout our stay.

Aedan checking out Josiah's gift.

We went to the fire truck museum with my dad and sister one morning. It was our first time going there...the boys did well. Josiah especially liked the fire truck simulator.

At night, we went to the see the lights with my mom, Mama, Aunt Francie, and Caroline. The lights were GREAT...the boys liked the dinosaur section, and the rockets.
We got to go on a train ride that Josiah and Aedan loved! Josiah was so excited, and could barely stand to wait the 30 minutes to ride. Once aboard, Josiah loved the dolphins and the frog jumping out of the water! Aedan was entertained as well. He liked it so much that he cried when the train ride was over.
The following day, we went to the children's museum. I love this museum, especially the water portion. This was the third time that I had been, and it was the most crowded I've ever seen it. There were kids everywhere. I was surprised that there wasn't more crying and less sharing...but everyone seemed to be fine with the craziness.
