Spring Trip: Day One~NN Park

I just got back to Cookeville yesterday from my Spring Trip. I left last Wednesday, March 18th...I spent four days in Virginia with my mom and then headed down to Charleston, SC to see my dad. I had a great time, and am still a little tired from the trip. I think the boys are, too. Josiah took a 3 1/2 hour nap today, and had no trouble going to sleep tonight! I'm sure that Josiah and Aedan were happy to be in their own beds.

The drive to Newport News is about a 9 1/2-10 hour drive. It took me 13 hours to make the trip with the stops. The boys did really great in the car. We only stopped three times, but those stops always seem to take long. Here are some pictures from our first day. We went to Newport News park this particular morning. It's only about 5 minutes (or maybe less then that) from my mom's. I love this park, and have lots of running memories here. (racing memories, long distance run memories) Since my high school days, they've built some nice playgrounds for kids to play on.
