Another milestone

Mercy moves to a big girl bed!  We will soon take the crib down:(  What a big girl!!!!

Josiah's Birthday Day!!!

Josiah's big day!  We strated the day out by going to Jumpville.  Josiah, Aedan, and Mercy love going there.  They have so much fun jumping around and going down slides!  They had a blast!

After Jumpville, we headed to Burger King and picked up some lunch.  After lunch, Josiah was eager to open up his presents.  He had fun opening everything and loved it all.

We had a visitor, baby Aaron, for a few hours that afternoon.  Mercy was a little jealous.  hahaha!!!!

Later that evening, we went to Books a Million, where Josiah bought some Magic Tree House books with his birthday money from Mama.  Next, we headed to Chili's for dinner.

At home with his new desk, or "office" as he calls it.  He was so excited about this desk!  My dad made this for him when he was just a baby.  It has been in Caroline's closet for years.  We picked it up when we stayed there for Kim's wedding.  The kids never even knew we had it with us!  haha!!  On the desk are his new Magic Tree House books.  :)

 

We are so proud of you, Josiah!  We love you and are so glad for the seven years of your life!

Josiah turns 7!  I can't believe he is 7 years old!!!!  We had his birthday party at the bowling alley this year the day before his actual birthday.  It really turned out great, and MUCH less high maintenance then doing one ourselves.  No worries about games or decorations!!!  Very nice!!!  The kids had a blast and Josiah loved everything!!!

 

The Wild Kratts is a PBS tv show.  It comes on weekday at 4:00.  Josiah and Aedan are always eager to watch it.  It is an educational biology show, which features different animals on each episode.

An overdue playdate

Aedan has a friend from CBS that he has begged to play with all semester long!  His mom, Dana, and I have known each other for a couple years.  We were in group together when Mercy and her youngest were babies.  Aedan loves playing with Ezra and Joseph!  They love sports like he does:)  They are at CBS together from 8-2, so they have had lots of time to get to know one another.  So thankful for this family and their friendships with Aedan!

We had our yearly trip to Nashville for Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God show!  Rachael and I got shirts!  Exciting, and blog-worthy, right?!  YES!
