Josiah's Birthday Celebration
We didn't have an offical party for Josiah this year; just a family one. We figured that he played with friends literally ALL week long. We started the day with his doughnut cake. Josiah doesn't like cake or icing, but he LOVES doughnuts. After the "cake" we opened presents, which took a while since he played and opened at the same time. After naps, we went to go get pizza, and then watched some of Josiah's movies that he got for his birthday. Also, we gave him his present from us in the evening, and the beloved balloons!!

Happy Birthday Josiah
Today Josiah turns 3 years old!! I am so thankful that he is my son. I can't believe that he is already 3. The time has gone by so fast, and he now looks like a little boy! Josiah loves to play chase around the house, and going to the park (even though we haven't been in a while). He loves to laugh, and to make Aedan laugh. Josiah likes airplanes, rockets, trains, and of course, animals! Oh, and I can't forget about his love for dinosaurs and Veggietales! Happy Birthday, my precious...I love you!!!
Behold the Lamb of God~~our prom
Yesterday we went to the 'Behold the Lamb' concert with the Russells and Lowhorns at the Ryman in Nashville. We decided to get all dressed up to go this year. Yes, Ryan Russell wore shoes!!!! Wow!! 'Behold the Lamb of God' is a concert by Andrew Peterson and other musicians that we are all fans of from Nashville. The concert is a story of the coming of Jesus. This is our third year going to this show at the Ryman. We had so much fun!! We left earlier then usual this year so we could go out to eat beforehand. Most of us ordered this yummy steak that was cooked with bacon wrapped around it. It was soooooooooo good. After the show, we had to go to Steak n Shake (our usual stop) for more food and shakes. Our friends, Shane and Cathy, watched Josiah and Aedan for us. I am very thankful for them. It is great to have people here that I fully trust with our children:)
