boys sledding

Yay! I have figured out how to do videos again:) (I'm not sure what it was doing in the upload process.) Here are a couple of videos of the boys sledding. These videos aren't from the most recent snows...Aedan screams as he goes down. Yesterday, though, there was no screaming...just smiles:)

Yes, we got more snow! Wow! Obviously schools were out yesterday and also today. It wouldn't surprise me if they are out through Thursday, which means no CBS for us:( Ryan took the boys out yesterday and they had a blast. They were outside a long time...playing and sledding, throwing snowballs, and building a snowman. I even bundled Mercy up and took her out for a little bit. She went sledding with Ryan! She seemed quite curious about the snow...she did't cry, so I guess she didn't mind being outside too much.

We had a surprise this morning...SNOW! We've had some chances for snow this past week...it snowed a little on Wednesday, and then there was a chance for snow on Friday. We didn't get any on Friday, and we just figured that was it...waiting for the snow that is supposed to arrive next week. Ryan took the boys out in the couple inches that we got. They went sledding and then explored around the land accross the street. I'm pretty sure Ryan's arm will be sore tomorrrow from throwing snow balls at the boys:) We now wait for the next system to come. We are supposed to get more...it sure does snow a lot here.

a Walmart find!

I went to Walmart today for everyday grocery shopping: milk, cheese, juice, bananas, chicken, granola bars, and more, I'm sure. On my way toward the check out line, I spotted a clearance rack. I found some jammies for Mercy (when she is older) REALLY cheap. Four out of the five are fleece jammies. I got the one piece fleece ones for $1.75 each, the Minnie Mouse jammies for $1.00, and the snow man jammies for $1.25! Total price for all 5 jammies: $7.50:) Three of them will be for next winter, and the other two will be for the following winter. Be sure to check out their clearance stuff if you need jammies for your little one for next winter:)

Christmas Snow

Here are some pictures of our Christmas snow! They boys had a blast sliding down the hill in their new sleds from Grammy and Grampy. I have videos, but they are still not downloading correctly onto blogger...I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...oh, well...here are some picutres:

While we got enough to sled on, my mom and Virginia got over a foot! Wow! Here's my mom and sister with Noel, their snowgirl that they built.

Prettiest Car Seat Cover

We finally moved Josiah to a booster seat! (His old car seat holds up to 63 lbs, so we were okay...in case your wondering.) It is a little odd to look back and to see him in a booster seat. For Christmas, my mom got Mercy this AMAZING cover to go over Josiah's old car seat. (We'll be moving her into it.) My mom and I searched on ebay for covers and came accross a woman who makes them.
