Easter Egg Hunt
This morning we had an Easter Egg Hunt at the church. It wasn't supposed to rain today, but it was drizzling and really wet outside. They did it inside...in different rooms of the church. Josiah and Aedan's age group was in the youth room. They did well egg hunting!!

Great Consignment Sale Finds
Last week my friend, Cathy, told me about a local consignment sale. I found some great deals, and also some Halloween costumes that the boys can wear this year. Halloween costumes can be expensive...last year I paid between $15-$20 for Josiah's, and (thankfully) Aedan's was a hand-me-down from Ryan's sister. I got both of these costumes for $13.00. Looks like Aedan will be a duck this year, and Josiah will be a tiger. Josiah liked his costume. He put it on and wore it the day I brought it home!! They are now hung in the closet awaiting October!

April (Snow) Showers Brings May Flowers
Yes, it snowed some today!! I didn't stick, of course, with the ground being too warm. When Josiah saw the snow, his first comment was, "It's Christmas!!!" His second comment was about going out to play in the snow. Hopefully, this little cold streak won't kill our springtime plants.

CVSing April 5th
I know I missed posting my CVS deals from last week, which were pretty good, but I was a little swamped trying to get all my pictures posted from my trip. This week is a great week at CVS with their Huggies deal they had. Here's what I did:
1st transaction: bought shaving gel, Easter baskets, and toothpaste. I used a 75 cent cpupon for the toothpaste and $9.00 in ECBs. I paid 87 cents out of pocket money.
2nd transaction: next, I bought the two packs of Huggies and the pack of pull ups (each was $10). I used $10 worth of coupons on the Huggies and Pull ups, and $10.50 worth of ECBs. So, I paid $11.43 out of pocket money, and I got back $10 of ECBs to use next time! yay!
